Over the years we have developed a driver jean in Japanese selvedge denim with a fat boy extra button as well as classic racing overalls and a mechanics jean ... but I felt we hadn’t quite answered the art of comfort, authenticity and relaxed style. I wanted a trouser a bit like a chino but more distinctive with a real sense of purpose but also of bravado. I kept seeing photographs of these incredibly stylish, brave, elegant racing drivers from the 1950s in a basic workwear trouser but worn with a loafer, a polo and a leather blouson or a jacket. The drivers looked amazing and the trousers covetable ... so the Connolly Rally was born.

The Rally has a traditional button fly, extra side pocket for a spanner or a cigar and are made in a mercerised cotton, especially dyed to our colours. Designed with a slight stretch to hold their elegance and shape when you walk into a restaurant after a long stint in the driving seat and yet to feel super comfortable when motoring or cycling!
