Care and Repair
Crafted with exceptional care, Connolly products deserve special attention. Whether it's a leather bag or a finely made knit, all Connolly creations can be maintained and rejuvenated through expert repair and restoration services.
Leather Care Advice
Leather is a living material; it will change and wear with use, developing a beautiful patina over time that reflects the many adventures it accompanies you on. To keep your leather bag in optimal condition, store it in its special Spanish-made eco suede Connolly dust bag when not in use. Please note that the eco suede is a natural colour and if you live in a humid country the colour may transfer onto lighter leather colours and light canvas colours.
To clean your bag or wallet, use a light damp lint-free cloth followed by a dry cloth to ensure the leather is dried and buffed.
Hide Care
It is important to note the Connolly Leather Hide Care is not to be used on our leather accessories and bags. This product is to be used only on Connolly Leather in cars and upholstery.
When applying Connolly Leather Hide Care, keep in mind that heavily finished leather will prevent the product from penetrating into the hide structure, and it may cause uneven absorption rates depending on the leather type. Hide Care is recommended only for dry or worn leather where oils have been depleted, as new leather won’t absorb the product effectively, leading to possible staining or smearing. The Hide Cleaner is designed solely for cleaning, while Hide Care lubricates and nourishes the leather structure. Leather only begins to deteriorate when it dries out and loses its natural oils, causing the hide's structure to become brittle.

Knitwear Care
Connolly values the use of sustainable and natural fibres in their knitwear collections. All Connolly knitwear is crafted in England, Scotland and Italy, using the finest natural yarns and knitting techniques. We recommend dry cleaning only for all your knitwear. When not in use, store your knitwear out of direct sunlight and, during the summer months, in a natural cotton fiber zip bag. To maintain its natural shape, we suggest folding your knitwear rather than hanging it.
Knitwear Repair
For any repair or rejuvenation needs, we have partnered with Cashmere Circle. Their services include repairs to all knitwear from fine merino sweaters to chunky cashmere cardigans and blankets.
