The second restaurant of Sardinian cuisine specialist Mauro Sanna, Oliveto is a more informal slant on the successful Olivo restaurant in Belgravia, and serves what some claim to be the finest pizza in London. Amongst the usual toppings are more outlandish ingredients such as truffle shavings, crab meat and sea urchins, pared with a list of carefully selected specialty Sardinian wines. As well as pizza, Oliveto is known for other traditional Sardinian delights such as carpaccio de mare and lorighittas con vongole, traditional Sardinian handmade pasta with clams, grey mullet roe and chilli.
